Our Stages
We are a modern, purpose-built facility in the heart of Australia’s screen and arts capital and 20 minutes from Melbourne Airport.
Crew love working on our lot. We have plenty of parking and Melbourne’s famous trams come right to our door. We are adjacent to a large shopping mall with great cafes and restaurants, and our operations team is friendly and supportive -“it’s the vibe!”
Our studio has six stages totalling more than 10,000 sqm (108,000 sqft), including a new 3,700 sqm (40,000 sqft) super stage – Stage 6 – which opened in March 2022.
Each stage houses support facilities including production offices, storage, dressing and make-up rooms.
Docklands Studios is a dry hire facility, allowing productions to select from Melbourne’s large pool of world-class service providers such as lighting, camera, drone, equipment hire, editing, VFX and post.
