Anything is possible at Docklands Studios Melbourne, with spacious production offices, construction workshops and ample areas for parking and outdoor set construction.
The studio is designed with filmmakers in mind. Each stage has an annex building with back-of-house facilities and dedicated production offices. Newly refurbished mess halls are centrally positioned for easy access. The large workshop has eight different-sized bays that can be hired together or separately and are ideal for set construction, props manufacture, costume and storage. The secure lot can accommodate multiple productions concurrently.
The studio is a dry-hire facility with no hidden commercial tie-ins or obligations. Producers are free to choose from Melbourne’s large pool of crew and service providers that can cater for the most complex production needs.
Docklands Studios Melbourne is a one-stop shop. We had great production facilities, fantastic space for the art department and wardrobe, and we were seconds away from where we needed to be at any given time.
