We’re delighted to announce the Emmy-winning actress is returning to Docklands Studios Melbourne.

Snook will bring her star power to suburban thriller All Her Fault, which will pump $70 million into the Victoria economy.

This includes around 2,000 jobs for local screen industry workers (including 510 crew and placements for emerging screen workers) plus flow-on benefits for more than 400 businesses.

It’s somewhat of a homecoming for Snook who filmed several projects at Docklands Studios earlier in her career: Predestination (2014), The Dressmaker (2015), Oddball (2015) and Winchester (2018).

Adelaide-born Snook, now based in Melbourne after her Emmy and Golden Globe winning role as Shiv Roy in HBO’s Succession, said she’s “excited about being able to work in Melbourne again. The industry we have here, across all departments of cast and crew, is world class.”

She’ll be joined by Dakota Fanning (Ripley, The Equalizer 3), Jake Lacy (White Lotus), Abby Elliott (The Bear), Sophie Lillis (It) and Michael Peña (Unstoppable), while award winner Minkie Spiro (3 Body Problem, Downtown Abbey, Dead to Me) will direct the first episode.

The synopsis follows every parent’s worst nightmare: “Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son, Milo, from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognises. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo.”

Filming will start soon on the blockbuster series, based on the best-selling novel by Andrea Mara and produced by Carnival Films, part of Universal International Studios.

The shoot at Docklands Studios and on location around Melbourne includes filming at NantStudios state-of-the-art virtual production (LED volume) facility on our lot.
