The Studios hosted the unveiling of an impressive new piece of kit from Flycam today in Stage 4. The Flighthead-5 Advance is a gyro-stabilized remote head that accommodates most film and broadcast cameras. A large contingent of film and television industry people from DOPs, producers, directors, grips to production companies came through the exhibition. This new platform can achieve the most stabilised tracking available in Australia today. It is particularly appealing to sport and live broadcast and for filmmaking it’s applicable for aerial tracking, vehicles, vessels, aircraft, animals and people in motion.
